1. Return Period
Since our services are digital and custom-tailored, traditional "returns" do not apply. However, you have the following options:
- Service Cancellation: You may cancel your service request within 24 hours of placing your order, before any formatting work has begun, for a full refund.
- Revision Requests: You may request revisions to your formatted resume within 14 days of delivery. All service packages include at least one revision at no additional cost.
- Refund Requests: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of service delivery and are subject to review based on the circumstances outlined in our refund eligibility criteria.
2. Return Conditions
Returns or refunds may be considered under the following conditions:
- Service not delivered within the agreed timeframe (after reasonable extension attempts and communication)
- Service cancellation requested before any formatting work has commenced
- Significant failure to meet agreed service specifications after all included revisions have been completed
- Technical issues preventing delivery of the formatted document that cannot be resolved
Refunds are not available for:
- Completed services that have been delivered and accepted
- Services cancelled after formatting work has commenced
- Dissatisfaction with content that was provided by the customer
- Change of mind after service delivery
3. Return Shipping Costs
Since our services are digital and delivered electronically, there are no physical products to return and no shipping costs associated with returns or refunds. All service delivery and communication is conducted electronically via email.
In the event of a refund, no additional fees or charges will be deducted for "return shipping" as no physical return is required.
4. Return Process
To initiate a return, cancellation, or refund request:
- Contact us via email at the address provided in the Contact Information section
- Provide your order number or service reference
- Clearly state the reason for your return or refund request
- Include any relevant documentation or evidence supporting your request
- Wait for our response, which will be provided within 2-3 business days
Once your request is approved, we will process the refund according to the procedures outlined in the Refund Procedure section.
5. Non-Returnable Services
The following services or circumstances are not eligible for return or refund:
- Completed and delivered formatting services that have been accepted by the customer
- Additional revisions purchased beyond the included revision package
- Services where the customer has provided inaccurate or incomplete information
- Services cancelled after formatting work has commenced
- Rush or expedited service fees (if the service was delivered within the expedited timeframe)
- Services where the customer has already used the formatted resume for job applications
6. General Legal Requirements
This Return Policy is provided in accordance with New Zealand consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Under New Zealand law, you have certain rights as a consumer, including:
- Right to services that are fit for purpose
- Right to services that match their description
- Right to services provided with reasonable care and skill
- Right to remedies if services do not meet these guarantees
This policy does not limit or exclude your rights under New Zealand consumer protection legislation. If there is a conflict between this policy and applicable law, the law will prevail.
7. Order Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your order under the following conditions:
- Before Work Begins: If you cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it and before any formatting work has commenced, you are entitled to a full refund.
- After Work Begins: If formatting work has already started, cancellation may result in a partial refund based on the amount of work completed, at our discretion. The refund amount will be calculated based on the percentage of work completed.
- After Delivery: Once the formatted resume has been delivered, standard cancellation is not available. However, you may request revisions or, in exceptional circumstances, a refund as outlined in the Return Conditions section.
To cancel an order, contact us immediately using the contact information provided below. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
8. Refund Procedure
If your refund request is approved, the following procedure will apply:
- Approval Notification: You will receive an email confirmation that your refund request has been approved, including the refund amount and expected processing time.
- Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days from the date of approval.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will contact you to arrange an alternative refund method.
- Confirmation: Once the refund has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation with transaction details.
- Bank Processing: Please note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account after we process it.
If you do not receive your refund within the expected timeframe, please contact us immediately.
